Ports of Stockholm support the Clean Shipping Index technical committee
The Clean Shipping Index are pleased to announce that Ports of Stockholm are strengthening the CSI Technical committee with its expertise in port management and incentive systems.
–We welcome Charlotta Solerud as member of the Clean Shipping Index Technical Committee and we acknowledge that several stakeholders with knowledge throughout the value chain is needed to jointly tackle the environmental challenges of shipping, says Sara Sköld, project manager of Clean Shipping Index at IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute.
Charlotta works as an environmental strategist at the Ports of Stockholm since 2015 with responsibility for long-term climate and environmental strategies. Charlotta has a degree in civil engineering and has worked with various environmental issues, mainly focusing on the environmental impact of transport for the past 20 years.
–We see it as an opportunity to ensure a long-term perspective in the environmental incentives we use to be part of the technical committee in the Clean Shipping Index. At ports of Stockholm, we work continuously to reduce the environmental impact of port operations and shipping. We have extensive experience of investments in shore connections and incentives in the form of environmentally differentiated port fees, says Charlotta Solerud.
