Clean Shipping Index climate criteria update now live: from CO₂ to GHG accounting

The Clean Shipping Index have implimented an update to database between on the 2nd of February. The updated GHG category applies to new certificates from now on.

The CSI methodology has moved from a CO₂-only category to a broader greenhouse gas (GHG) category. This methodological update results in stricter requirements for all vessels assessed under CSI. At the same time, the new GHG category is applied in a transparent and consistent way across all vessels and aligning our reporting requirements with the MRV system.

If you have performed a self-assessment during the last two weeks, please confirm that the results remain in line with the update before certification.
